Our primary client contact, based in EMEA, wanted to better align leadership skills with the network’s ambitious new global vision. We designed and delivered a highly engaging, customized training experience that earned the highest participant satisfaction rates the client had ever seen for a program of its kind.
The Challenge: Modernizing Leadership for a Global Vision
The client, a large global accounting network, recognized a pressing need to update its leadership development curriculum. Their existing in-person academy required a significant refresh to align with evolving global business demands and the network's new strategic vision. The core challenge was to create an engaging, impactful program that could effectively hone the skills of two levels of future leaders.
The client specifically wanted a program that could cater to both new managers and experienced executives, providing a consistent framework for "transformational leadership". It was important that the training curriculum fostered cross-border connections and a shared understanding of their global objectives in areas like brand, people, technology, and growth.
Our Solution: A Tailored & Interactive Leadership Journey for Two Cohorts
We worked closely with the client to overhaul their leadership training, creating a Level 1 and Level 2 curriculum for different leadership tiers. Our program kicked off with two-day, in-person workshops for each group, focusing on our "Change Leadership Compass"—eight guiding principles for effective leadership. These sessions included interactive icebreakers, hands-on exercises, and group discussions that kept over 40 executive leaders and future managers actively engaged throughout an intensive two-day workshop.
Our approach included a comprehensive, customized curriculum that explored industry-specific challenges, our firm’s change management perspective, and essential leadership skills. Participants actively collaborated with international colleagues, sharing insights and brainstorming ideas to inform the network's ongoing strategy and communications. Following the in-person kick-off, participants reconvened with virtual follow-up engagements, reinforcing critical concepts such as adaptability, communication, and emotional intelligence.
