Each year, 18 Coffees picks one theme to focus on. We’ve previously centered our work around democracy and change — this year, we’re exploring sustainability.
Our team has been brainstorming ways to make our lives more sustainable in every sense of the word. With that in mind, 18 Coffees is hosting a Community Partner rooftop swap meet at our Ravenswood office on August 2 from 5:30 to 7pm. Join us for an evening of light refreshments, community conversation, and some secondhand, sustainable shopping.
Here’s how it works: One person’s “trash” is another person’s treasure — please bring gently used clothes, books, kitchen wares, and anything else you’re ready to part with. You’ll receive a ticket for each item you bring, which you can then redeem for “new to you” treasures to take home!
