Community Partner Project: Obama Foundation

Project Details

Who: The Obama Foundation x 18 Coffees

What: Join us for our next community volunteer project benefiting our partner, the Obama Foundation! We’ll be working to support the organization’s Chicago Strategic Plan, focusing on economic development, youth leadership, and the Obama Presidential Center. We’re looking for general volunteers, as well as 1-2 Community Partner project leads to conduct research, interviews, and data analysis alongside our 18 Coffees team.

When: Applications are due August 20. Project kickoff will begin September 1 alongside the OF and 18 Coffees teams.

Where: Virtually via Slack, Zoom, Google Docs, etc.

Why You Should Volunteer: This isn’t the average resume-building volunteer opportunity. By participating in this project, you will drive social impact through direct collaboration with and contributions to the Obama Foundation’s five-year Chicago strategic plan. Pending successful project completion, you will have tangible evidence of your impact such as OF team testimonials, LinkedIn recommendations, etc. to share with your network.

If you’re interested in gaining tangible social impact expertise, resume-building experience, and new connections at the Obama Foundation and within our 18 Coffees team, please complete the application below or contact Jessica Ivetich by August 20, 2021.
