Soma water bottles are made from only three components — borosilicate glass (aka sand), silicone, and bamboo — and proceeds from each bottle sold go to nonprofit organizations like charity: water, Lonely Whale, Parley, and our friends at Vote.org.

Actually Curious cards might be familiar if you joined our Empathy Workout event earlier this year. We love using these decks to guide virtual discussions and deepen connections within our community! Consider supporting our friend Michael Tennant and the Actually Curious team with the Curiosity, Culture, Happy Hour, or Human Rights editions that can be played individually or together.
Add some sparkle to the holiday season with Stella and Haas, a BIPOC, woman-owned jewelry company that places representation, diversity, and equality at its core. Who says practical gifts can’t be fun? Pair Eyewear, a woman- and BIPOC-owned company, makes magnetic “tops” that stick to the base glasses frame, allowing for infinite and easy customizations. Jess says, “Pair was founded by one of my close friends and his cofounder, Sofia — they even made it on Shark Tank! But my favorite part is that for every purchase, Pair donates glasses to kids in need.”

Fun fact: 18 Coffees Community Partnership originated from a series of Friendsgivings hosted by and for our community members like Robin, who used these to share her family's favorite recipes. This season, consider supporting Asian-owned businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 by serving dishes from Send Chinatown Love's Digital Cookbook.
If you don’t want to give someone a second hand read, support independent bookstores! Sites like Bookshop.org, which offer shipping from local bookstores nationwide. P.s. Don’t have a particular book in mind yet? Gift cards make the perfect stocking stuffer or smaller gift for the first few nights of Hanukkah.
Want to avoid new purchases altogether? Gather a group and host a holiday swap meet! The home decor you’re tired of staring at while working from home the past two years could easily be someone else’s new pride and joy.
