Supporting Refugee Work Opportunities

Project Overview: Community Partner Kathleen Murphy Toms has been working directly with refugees who’ve landed in Chicago through community aid, and put out a call to the community to help fill out applications for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for those who need to be able to work.

Thanks to all Community Partners for their time helping to submit their applications!

Outcome: Kat shared that time from 18 Coffees Community Partners helped 77 Venezuelans to get protection and work permits to build a stable life in the U.S.
